BubblePop is coming to Barcelona on the 1st and 2nd of July to bring the first festival focused on Asian music in Europe. BubblePop will be held at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc with exclusive concerts, a wide cultural and gastronomic offer that aims to celebrate and honour the Asian community while responding to the hundreds of thousands of Western followers of phenomena such as K-Pop or J-Pop: BubblePop is the opportunity for all of them to meet in Barcelona and celebrate Asian music at a price adjusted for young audiences.

Among the names on the line-up, the South Korean artist LeeHi stands out, with more than 500 million views on YouTube alone and a legion of fans inside and outside of K-Pop: ONLY, HOLO or BREATHE are some of the songs that best define this artist. REI AMI, known for urban hits like Freak, DICTATOR or Snowcone, will perform in Europe for the first time. Superorganism, the London band led by Orono Noguchi will play some world-known songs such as Something for Your M.I.N.D. or Everybody Wants to Be Famous.

Also from South Korea, the artist JUNNY, at the height of his international fame, will visit our country for the first time, oceanfromtheblue will present his new album, xooos, which will make its debut outside of Asia or Milena. From Japan, the electronic rap of DONGURIZU became viral recently thanks to their hit NO WAY. The icing on the cake will be provided by the producers Macross 82-99 and Vantage, two of the greatest exponents of future funk.

The poster’s original art and mascot of BubblePop have been created by the Barcelona-born, Seoul-based artist duo Hanavbara, two sisters specialising in digital illustration with more than 500 thousand followers on Instagram.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 20th. In addition, new international names will join the lineup in the coming days.
