In 2001 he won the special jury prize at the 61st Tenkaichi Awards with the story GRAVE KEEPER HAKAMORI and three years later, in 2004, he received an honorable mention at the 67th Tezuka Awards with XXX WITH NO NAME. That allowed him to make his debut in 2005 in AKAMARU JUMP magazine with the work GARANCE.
In 2011 he won first prize in the Golden Future Cup with the work HUNGRY JOKER, which later became a regular series in WEEKLY SHÔNEN JUMP.
In 2015 he began publishing BLACK CLOVER, the series that has launched him to stardom, which already has 36 volumes published and more than 19 million copies in circulation Worldwide. It currently appears in the pages of Shueisha's JUMP GIGA magazine and has been adapted into an anime with more than 170 episodes produced so far.
