Ana C. Sanchez is a manga writer and illustrator who was born on September 3, 1990, in Murcia, Spain. Since she was a teenager, she enjoyed writing and creating stories. She started in the world of illustration in a self-taught way.
She created several webcomics such as Cross Heart, Melody of Sorrow and Phantom Edge, which she then printed and sold at manga events. She also worked as a freelance artist for various personal projects.
She began collaborating with Planeta Manga magazine with her story Yuri Alter Ego, which was later published in an anthology in 2021 in Spain, as well as other countries such as France, the United States, Italy and Brazil.
She has published other stories in the magazine, such as Sirius (2022), as well as collaborating on projects such as Reflejos del futuro (Reflections of the Future - 2022). Ana C. Sanchez is currently publishing her latest series, Limbo (2023), and has been a guest artist at various events such as Manga Barcelona and the Japan Expo in Paris, where she has shared her experience and passion for manga with her fans.
In 2023, she won the award for Best Spanish Manga at the 29th Manga Barcelona for her Planeta Manga work: Limbo.
