高校生の宮本大は楽譜が読めないにもかかわらず、世界一のジャズ・ミュージシャンを目指して日夜練習に励んでいた。卒業後、宮本大は都内で腕の立つピアニストの沢辺と出会い、バンド「JASS」を結成する。2人の目標は日本で最も権威あるジャズ・クラブである「SO BLUE」のステージに立つことだ。果たして彼らは成功できるだろうか。
