日本を代表するアニメ監督の一人である渡辺信一郎。1998年にスタートしたSFウエスタンのアニメシリーズ『カウボーイビバップ』はカルト的な人気を博し、2021年にはNetflixで実写化もされている。

主人公のスパイク・スピーゲルと仲間たちの冒険を描いた『カウボーイビバップ』につづき、『サムライチャンプルー』（2004年）や『坂道のアポロン』（2012年）、『残響のテロル』（2014年）、『スペース☆ダンディ』（2014年）、『キャロル＆チューズデイ』（2019年）など、多くの作品で人びとを魅了してきた。渡辺監督はドラマやSF、コメディなどさまざまな要素を巧みに融合させつつ音楽にも重きを置き、菅野よう子やNujabesといった一流アーティストとのコラボレーションを通じて作品の魅力を倍増させている。

2025年には最新作『LAZARUS ラザロ』が公開された。本作は米カートゥーンネットワークが大人向け時間枠「Adult Swim」を念頭に単独出資してMAPPAが制作し、HBO Maxで配信された2052年を舞台にしたSFシリーズだ。ハリウッドを代表するスタントコーディネーターであるチャド・スタエルスキ（『ジョン・ウィック』等）によるアクション監修、カマシ・ワシントンやボノボ、フローティング・ポインツが参加した豪華なサウンドトラックなど、『LAZARUS ラザロ』には渡辺監督の情熱のすべてが詰まっている。

さらに嬉しいことに、渡辺監督はマンガバルセロナへの初参加が決まっている。最新作『LAZARUS ラザロ』について熱く語ってくれることだろう。乞うご期待！

One hour before the start of each session, the winners will receive an email notifying them that they have been selected for the signing. We recommend also checking your spam folder.
This email will specify the exact location/room within 31 MANGA BARCELONA where the signing session will take place. You must go there for the signing session.
If you haven't received an email 45 minutes before the signing session, it means you haven't been selected for that session.
