Luis Montes is a comic book writer and concept artist from Granada, creator of the manga Gryphoon currently published in Planeta Manga magazine.
Born in Granada, he studied at various design schools in the city and graduated from the prestigious Joso School in Barcelona, where he has been a teacher for the last four years. In the last six years he has worked as an illustrator for Nintendo in advertising campaigns for Zelda and Fire Emblem, as a concept artist for various animation productions and video game studios, and as a cartoonist on several projects such as the comic book Diferente (Different) published by Planeta.
He is currently writing the manga Gryphoon for Planeta Cómic.
