Toni Caballero (Valencia, 1991) is an illustrator and manga artist. After completing a postgraduate degree in illustration at the ESAT in Valencia, he began to work tirelessly in the comics industry, being a finalist in the Norma Editorial manga competition four times. He has also worked as an illustrator for all kinds of cultural events and brands such as Fnac, Heroes Comic Con, Wacom or Clip Studio.
His realistic and pop style has won him several awards from the Japanese SMA (CoamixInc/North Stars Pictures).
In 2022, together with the scriptwriter Sergio Hernández, he published the manga Backhome (Planeta Cómic), which received a great reception from the national and international public, reaching countries such as Italy and France. Along with Sergio, Toni is also the winner of the Diafebús Youth Novel Prize for his work El Diari de Laia (Laia’s Diary). Another of his outstanding works is Reflejos del Futuro (Reflections of the Future - Planeta Cómic) with Blanca Mira.
With the adaptation of I am Legend, he has combined his work as a manga artist and illustrator, giving life to a full-color pop comic!
