Sara Lozoya

Sara Lozoya was born in Madrid in 1996. She has been drawing, either in notebooks or on school desks, ever since she can remember. However, although it was clear that she wanted to dedicate herself to the world of illustration, she never took art classes. In fact, she was a science girl even in college, where she studied Videogame Design and Development.

Everything she knows about art, she learned on her own, challenging herself to improve little by little, until what was a hobby became her professional work.

Sara works nowadays in two fields related to art: animation and illustration. On the one hand, she works as a background and color key artist at Sunshine Animation Studio, where she has participated in the animated trailers of video games such as Blasphemous, CrisTales or TemTem.

On the other hand, as an illustrator she has collaborated with different publishers, illustrating all kinds of children's books such as Escuela de Villanos (School of Villains - by Marta Álvarez), Anne of Green Gables (by Lucy Maud Montgomery), Turboskaters saga (by César Fernández, Casandra and Bárbara Balbás), El retorno a la isla blanca (Return to the White Island - by Laura Gallego) or El Príncipe de la Calamidad (The Prince of Calamity - by Blanca Mira, together with Laia López and Miriam Bonastre), among others. In November 2024 she publishes her BL manga Flashlight.
