TAIFU

Born in Girona, Taifu is a cosplayer and cosmaker since 2013. With his first participation in a cosplay contest, he won first place in pairs, to represent Spain in the international contest China Cosplay Super Show in 2015.

Since then he has been awarded multiple times, standing out for his characterization and clothing, also winning the award for best cosplay in the Cosplay Parade of the 27th Manga Barcelona.

But where Taifu displays all his talent is in his performances. He got the second place in the preliminary of the European Cosplay Gathering (ECG) in 2015 and 2016. Finally, in 2017 he managed to qualify to represent Spain in the individual category in the grand final the following year.

Not satisfied with that, he won again the ECG qualifier in 2019, and after the pandemic, in this 2022 he came back to represent Spain in the ECG, crowning himself as the best individual cosplayer in Europe and first Spanish representative to get the first prize in the contest.
