Xian Nu Studio

Irene and Laura form Xian Nu Studio. They are two professional manga style authors working since 2007 as illustrators in different fields, although they are mostly known for their work in the world of comics. Their works have been published through various publishing houses around the world (Yaoipress, Tokyopop, LernerBooks, Les Humanöides Associés, Kantik, Akileos, Norma Editorial, Glenat España, Fandogamia, Ediciones Babylon...), which cover all kinds of audiences.

They received the Master Class recognition by being among the winners of the international Japanese contest organized by the publishing house Coamix in Silent Manga Audition 04, in the category Grand Prix Runner Up, with the work Come back with me. 

Arguably, their most outstanding works are those of their own authorship: The Bakemono trilogy and the Chan Prin hexalogy. You will be able to find the last tome of the hexalogy at this year's Manga Barcelona.
