Rian CYD

Rian Cyd started cosplaying in 2009. He enjoys manufacturing his own costumes, performing on a stage and participating in competitions.

He has experienced success in the world of cosplay not only by winning international competitions in different countries, but also as a costume maker. He has been a runner up at Anime Festival Asia in 2011 and years later, in 2013, he was able to obtain the first place in the same competition. He considers that the biggest achievement of his life was winning the 2016 World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan, where he represented Indonesia against 30 countries that participated. He has also won several competitions across Europe, such as Polymanga Global Easter in Switzerland (2018). Furthermore, he has managed to get a 3rd place to represent Indonesia and the 1st place at MAGIC Monaco in 2019.

The cosplayer has been jury in different cosplay competitions in Indonesia and internationally. He has been a member of the jury in World Cosplay Summit (2017), XXII Saló del Manga de Barcelona in Spain (2017), COMFEST CON in Kuwait (2017), Iberanime in Portugal (2018), WESTJOY in Chongqing, China (2019), INSOMNIA in Dubai (2019), INSOMNIA in Saudi Arabia (2019), NEXUS Cosplay Contest in Saudi Arabia (2019), and many other countries and cities in Indonesia.

He currently has a study where he makes costumes and props for cosplay, films, advertising, videogame companies and any other promotional need of several other companies. This business started in 2013 and Rian has been selling and shipping his products all over the world.
